If you used to avoid statistics with its charts, diagrams and lots of numbers, this is not the case now. Here are some facts that you'll read in one breath.

Every day US people spend 270 minutes watching TV. The second place goes to Poland where average TV viewing time equals to 264 minutes per person.
#9 More children are born on Thursdays
According to statistics, most babies are choosing Thursday (17,5%) or Monday (14,2%) for the day of their birth. The least popular day is Saturday. Only 12,5 % of children are born on Saturdays.
#10 In Denmark practically all Moms go to work
More than 80% of Danish mothers work regularly. Almost as many mothers work in the Netherlands, Sweden, Austria, and Slovenia.
#11 McDonald's sells 4400 hamburgers every minute worldwide.
A famous fast food restaurant runs a website where you can track the number of products that has been sold and the number of clients has been served.
#12 Every day 1700 people in the United States are becoming millionaires.
Statistics says that today there are about 8 million households whose income is more than $1 million not including property.

I've read on here more than once that the most common male name is Mohammed and I think there are more Marias than Marys since Maria is extremely common throughout the Spanish-speaking world. Also Marie is very common in the French-speaking world, so maybe they are lumping all of them together?
