Quiz club should resend this with ALL the pictures! I’m fascinated with stones, rocks, minerals, all of it. We used to polish stones and I made jewelry out of them.

#7 the fluorite shown is known as Blue John found in the hills aroiund Castleton in Derbyshire (UK) Most of the mines are now mined out but small samples can be found in spoil heaps, many of said mines are open to the public now.
